Technical Finance Manager
A London Based Health Authority has a vacancy for a the role of Technical Finance Manager, this is a six month temporary contract beggining at the start of September.
The organisation currently uses Agresso 5.4 SP3 Financial, Logistics and Intelligence, and will be implementing 5.5 in April 2009. This role is to support 5.4, whilst the Senior Finance Manager concentrates on the implementation of 5.5. There will be opportunities to assist with the implementation of 5.5 and learn areas of the new system.
Other responsibilities will include:
•Monitoring individual budgets for variances and investigation/resolution of adverse variances.
•Staff cost forecasting including liaison with Divisional Managers to maintain an up-to-date and accurate establishment staff list.
•Variance analysis of actual versus forecast results.
•To process the monthly interface from ESR Payroll system to Finance System and batching and completion of journals and journal uploads, as required.
•Production of key elements of the monthly management accounts.
The organisation are looking for an individual who has experience in a supervisory role and who has previously worked within a simliar environment. Experience of using similar systems is advantageous and candidate with experience using Agrreso will be at an advantage.
Experience Required:
•Experience and expertise in a range of accounting areas.
•Specialist knowledge and expertise in Financial Systems and Microsoft Excel.
•Extensive experience within Management Accounting.
•Supervisory experience.
