About the company
Our client is a start-up and early stage UK Venture Partnership Company specialising in the Online and New Media industry with participation in more than 12 companies and a cumulative turnover of £40 million for 2007.
About the role

To support the head of commercial and head of design with preparing creative concepts, mood boards and draft web page designs to support pitches. For projects that are won the individual will work closely with the existing design tema to refine the creative and brief / review the work of the front end coding teams.

Skills, experience and qualifications

Key skills will be the creative interpretation of a clients brief (however vague) and the ability to position themselves in the shoes of the target audience of the creative.
The application should be able to present a portfolio that includes digital creative work, have experience of interpreting a brief creatively into the digital medium, understand the principles of web 2.0 and the consequent design implications and most of all be passionate and interested in the usability, design and functionality opportunities presented by the web.
Technical skills should include use of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, illustrator with use of Flash or CMS’s like Wordpress a nice to have.
