We urgently need a cheerful housekeeper/nanny to help look after our home and our wonderful 18-month-old son.

We are a professional couple looking for a full-time housekeeper with childcare experience to help look after our house and help with our adorable 18-month-old son.

We are currently living in Ealing, W5, but will possibly move to Wimbledon, SW18 within the next four-five months.

The job is mainly a housekeeping role (about 70 per cent), with some babysitting and childcare. Housekeeping duties will include: laundry, ironing, dusting, vaccuming, tidying and organising, cooking and food preparation.

The job will suit someone who is already a housekeeper nanny, or who has experience as a housekeeper, loves children and has a demonstrable ability to entertain and engage with our very sweet little man.

The successful candidate will also help with feeding, bathing and dressing our son and be happy playing games, reading books and singing songs to keep him entertained! We need someone who can bring lots of enthusiasm and positive energy and really know how to bring the best out in an intelligent and curious toddler.

We need someone with a bubbly personality and a positive attitude who is able to work efficiently with minimum supervision.

Although mum is at home the successful candidate will need to be able to work without supervision for large periods of the day.

Fluent spoken English
Able to make long-term (minimum 1 year) commitment (after initial trial period)
A very, very high standard of cleaning, ironing & general domestic support
Lots of initiative to sort & tidy etc without being asked or shown
punctual and reliable
non-smoker
Experience working with young children
Full checkable references.
