Seasonal Customer Service Team Member

We love our customers and are looking for enthusiastic and positive team players to help us give them the best possible service during our busiest time of year!

We’re looking for a group of people to join our customer service team on Monday 23rd November for a maximum of eight weeks. After this eight week period there may be the opportunity to apply for a permanent position!

Exceptional service is extremely important to us, and so are the people who provide it. We have an absolutely brilliant team of people who love talking to and writing to our customers. We give them the freedom to do a great job: there are sensible shifts, no call scripts and an emphasis on service rather than sales.

We need people who
• Love giving great service,
• Take great pride in their work,
• Have a “can do” attitude,
• Have a clear speaking voice and fabulous telephone manner,
• Have excellent communication skills, good grammar and spelling,
• Can type with accurate data entry skills, and
• Have previous customer service experience.

You will be given plenty of training about organic farming and the food that we sell, to make sure you know your papayas from your prickly pears!

Terms and conditions

These roles are temporary positions for a maximum of eight weeks but there may be the opportunity to apply for a permanent position. You will be given a 24 hour contract and will be scheduled between 24 and 40 hours work a week.

You will need to be available Monday – Saturday to cover the shifts below. You will work a maximum of five days a week.

Monday – Friday

• 08:00 - 17:00
• 08:30 – 17:30
• 09:00 - 18:00
• 09:30 – 18:30
• 10:00 - 19:00
• 10:30 - 19:30
• 10:45 – 19:45

Saturday

• 08:45 - 17:15

We are open on Bank Holidays and you will need to be available to work over the Christmas and Year period. We will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Transport
There is plenty of parking space in the secure, gated car park. There is also be bike parking, and we have a bike scheme which gives staff loans to buy bikes at massively reduced prices.

The nearest station is Haydons Road, served by First Capital Connect via Kings Cross, Elephant and Castle, and Wimbledon routes. It’s a ten-minute walk to the offices from there.

The nearest tube stations are South Wimbledon, Tooting Broadway, Wimbledon Park and Colliers Wood. These stations are 20 – 30 minute walk from Waterside Way. It is possible to shorten your journey by catching Bus 200 from Wimbledon Park or Colliers Wood stations to Haydons Road Station.
