Web Developer Required Front End Design Skills Essential

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to join this fast developing media group. The right candidate will possess a flair for front-end templates and user-interface design, as well as be proficient in a range of programming languages for back-end and database development. You would be working with a team of five, utilising open source technologies and rolling out our preferred CMS across a range of businesses and projects. If you think you have the right mix of design and programming experience and would like to work with our team implementing websites and web applications then this could be the role for you. This is a great position for someone who really wants to develop within a dynamic, busy and friendly media environment.

Technical Skills Required

Essential:
Excellent front-end design skills and knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
A flair for front-end / template / user interface design.
Excellent knowledge of PHP 4+ environment (experience with OOP is a plus).
Excellent knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS, XML
Good knowledge of JavaScript (including frameworks such as JQuery), browser compatibility issues, search engine optimisation.
AJAX basics
Ability to hand code the above mentioned computer languages.
Good knowledge of MySQL.
Generic CMS functionality.
2+ years commercial experience in a position with similar requirements.

Extra:
Experience with ExpressionEngine CMS is a major advantage, but not essential.
Experience with mailing lists and HTML emails is an advantage, but not essential.
Experience working on both B2B and consumer facing websites a bonus.
