Interim Finance Manager
This position is to supervise and guide a Central Government Finance team of 6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, departmental policy and all statutory requirements. Budgeting, forecasting, and recharging activities.
Also to streamline finance systems & financial procedures
Skills - Strong people management skills; CCAB qualified accountant; Exemplary analytical skills; Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel); Excellent communication and relationship management skills;
Experience - Manage a range of staff with various abilities and the administration involved; Budgeting and forecasting experience, preferably in a commercial environment; Experience of undertaking recharging activities;
Knowledge - Budgeting and forecasting as applied within the public sector and in a commercial environment environment; Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
You will be providing financial data and analysis to those involved in renegotiating the principle IT contract so Contract management experience is desirable.
