One of my biggest Client Primary Schools in the New Cross area is looking for a TA to work on Long Term Supply from January. One of their current TAs will be away for the remainder of the Academic Year.

You will be working in a Year 2 class as a General Teaching Assistant. At least 80% of the class are expected to achieve level 2 or higher ( in Maths and English ), in the 2010 SATs. It is a high achieving class.

This job is absolutely ideal for someone who is looking to begin a PGCE in September 2010. Someone who wants experience in the classroom with the view to undertaking the PGCE ( Post Graduate Certificate in Education ) or even the GTP ( Graduate Teacher Programme ) the following Academic Year.

This school has had Graduates from Academics in the last 2 years and they have been delighted with them. Good school which will provide you with the necessary experience.
