A mainstream primary school in South East London is looking for an experience special needs assistant to work on a one to one basis with a pupil in year 6, to start from 16th November. It is essential the successful candidate either be qualified in Soundswrite or Phonografix, as you would be responsible for delivering this structured phonic program. If you have had experience of this, but have no formal qualification this will also be considered. As a special needs assistant you will be responsible for helping develop the pupil’s reading and writing skills and help with personal and social development. If you have a positive, enthusiastic nature, an enhanced CRB issued within the last 12 months and experience working with children in the last 2 months, we would love to hear from you.
