SECONDARY MATHS TEACHER NEEDED

An exceptionally large and challenging secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a focused, confident and experienced Maths teacher who can teach up to Key Stage 4, full time, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.

This mixed comprehensive school consists of just over 1700 students with another 300+ enrolled in the sixth form. The school has a reputation for its behavior problems. Candidate’s who apply for this position must have exceptional behavioral and classroom management skills as you will be tested in this difficult teaching environment. Previous London classroom experience is vital in order to be considered for the role.

The school is improving on a daily basis. Teaching and learning are good and have improved since the last inspection because of carefully targeted support and rigorous monitoring. Because the majority of teachers plan very well, students respond with hard work. A fast pace, well-judged praise, high expectations and good attention to literacy support students' learning well.
