We are opening another large boutique backpacker hostel in NW2 London and require and experience kitchen manager to head up the kitchen at the new site.

This is the second hostel in our group and the first is one of the highest rated in London and the UK. We are currently providing meals at Palmers Lodge 6 days a week and breakfast 7 days a week. Breakfast will be a continental breakfast for around 300 people. Current numbers on the evening meals are around 20-50 covers per night.

You will be required to manage the kitchen and maintain health and safetly standards with respect to preparation and serving of food. You need to be able to create and cost menu's and organise stock rotation. Good communication between you and management is essential to maintain smooth operation. Organising for group meals is also required with groups up to 50 people.

You will be the only chef but will be accompanied by kitchen hands on busy nights. Kitchen hands will be able to help with breakfast.

Food handling certificate is essential. NVQ's or similar background is desired.
