Bar staff and Host ess needed in Spanish bar in King's Cross

*********Bar Position*********
Camino Bar and Restaurant is currently looking for enthusiastic, smiley, hard working and experienced full and part-time bar staff.

Candidates MUST have at least 6 months of bar experience. We are not only after professional bartenders (no flaring here), we are also after people that know how to run behind a bar. We are extremely busy, so it is very important that we are fast at all times.

Having a Spanish/Latin background is a plus, but not essential. Knowing a few words in Spanish would also give you some "extra points"! ;)

We're in the heart of the new development area, the Regents Quarter, in King's Cross.

Not bragging or anything, but in 2008, Camino was awarded the "Best bar in Britain" by the Observer. ;)

You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to work evenings and weekends.

Every chosen candidate will be called for one or two trials. Even thought we are hiring bar staff, our trials shifts are basically doing floor and barback (even for the most experienced ones). That’s how we will see how fast you are and how you can interact with your colleagues. Trial shifts are paid £5.80/hour. The rate for chosen candidates start at £5.80 hour and it rises to £6 after induction period (2 to 4 weeks).

********* Host/ess Position*********

There is also a Host or Hostess a position available in our restaurant. Flexible hours are suitable for students. Hosts and hostesses have the responsibility of immediately establishing the atmosphere of a restaurant for the customers when they first walk in the door. Smile is compulsory :), Minimum 6 months experience required. Pay rate starts at £6.50 ph.
