We require gardeners to work for our VIP client in Surrey.
Work will be carried out on a vast estate and there will be 40 hours work a week.
The job purpose is to maintain all gardens and grounds to the highest standard at all times. Responsible to the head gardener.

Key responsibilities include:
-Day to day garden maintenance of allocated properties.
-Safe and responsible use of garden department pool vehicles.
-The safe and proper use of garden machinery.
-To undertake any landscaping or special projects when required.
-To maintain the highest possible personal and professional standards at all times.
-To comply with all health and safety regulations as governed by the health and safety at work act 1974 and any amendment.

It is essential that you have a full clean UK driver’s license and that you are able to perform physical work including the operation of gardening machinery.

You must have an interest in gardening and it is desirable that you have extensive plant knowledge. We require a team player, with experience of working in a team. You must be confident to work in all weather conditions.

It is desirable that you hold the following qualifications, These will greatly aid your application but are not essential;
-Spraying course PA1 foundation and PA6 hand held sprayer.
-Any City and Guilds NVQ in amenity horticulture or equivalent qualification.
-Course in chainsaw maintenance / crosscutting and felling.
