We are looking for a responsible and motivated au pair / mother's help who will help look after our 2 year old son as well as help run our family home. We are a relaxed family who enjoy the countryside and we entertain quite a lot.

You should:
• Be available for an interview in the UK
• Be experienced with toddlers / young children
• Be energetic and positive
• Show initiative around the house
• Be tidy and organised
• Be creative in stimulating a child
• Commit to minimum 1 year
• Be a non-smoker
• Have fully checkable references
• Love animals and the countryside
• Enjoy cooking would be a bonus!
• Good English preferable.

The job involves:
• Getting our son up in the morning and giving him breakfast.
• Doing the housework, such as hoovering, cleaning bathrooms, tidying, laundry and ironing, washing up, etc
• Occasional preparation of our son's meals and feeding him
• Playing and reading to him, taking him for walks, rather than putting him in front of the TV
• Helping occasionally with the animals - such as feeding them.

We are in Hampshire, 20 minutes from Winchester, and a hour by train from London. There is a car available should you have a British driving licence. We are close to Romsey, Winchester and Southampton, with some public transport.

You should enjoy being in the countryside, long walks, animals - we have a dog, a cat, chickens and two lambs, but also someone who is happy to be by themselves in the evenings/time off and make their own life here.

Working hours
Full time, 5 days a week. We can be flexible in hours, should you, for example, want to attend a language class once a week. Also, 3 weeks paid holiday and one flight home a year. All food and necessities provided.
