Interim Service Manager
We are currently seeking an Interim Service Manager to join a Learning Disabilities Team in the North West Area.
1. To manage service change, to provide a model of service delivery that places and maintains the user in control and where care management services will move to a more generic provision
2. To ensure that the managers and staff within the area of responsibility are properly trained, motivated and supported to deliver the new model of support
3. Working in partnership with council services, statutory and independent organisation's delivering health- and social care services in the local area in order to benefit users and provide a lead to achieve the agreed outcomes.
4. Work with regulatory bodies and government agencies in order to deliver on the performance information and requirements. Provide the lead to improve the effective delivery of services in line with agreed Improvement Plans.
5. Take a proactive approach to performance management, ensuring that information is produced and remedial action plans are developed, implemented and monitored within required time scales.
6. Ability to work with politicians an all levels and to develop a good understanding of governance and the political environment effecting service delivery.
7. To keep abreast of the relevant legal- and regulatory requirements and ensure that appropriate action is taken in the area of responsibility for services to deliver on this.
8. Deputies for HOS as necessary and appropriate
9. o act as responsible officer for the Neighbourhood Resource Centre base
Pay rate from £28 - £35 per hour
GSCC Registration is essential.
