Store Manager
The store manager will be accountable for all members of their team within the store. This position will require them to train and coach colleagues to ensure that all company procedures and standards are adhered to.
They will be solely accountable for the sales and KPI's within the store and will be required to use their initiative to exceed targets.
MAIN DUTIES
· Accountability for sales performance of the store
· Drives exceptional customer service in the store through their team
· Liaising with Head Office departments e.g. Merchandisers and Marketing
· Responsible for ensuring all staff receive correct mandatory and company training
· To ensure all colleagues follow company procedures and practises
· Monitoring and maintain personnel costs
· Ensuring fast turnaround of stock and high stockroom and shop floor standards are maintained
· Responsible for stores visual displays creating exciting and appealing displays to enhance our unique brand
· Any other duties as required
SKILLS REQUIRED
Applicants must possess the following skills:
. Previous store management experience essential.
· Commercial awareness to understand the potential and direction of the store
· Communication skills (ability to communicate effectively on many different levels (to team, senior management and support functions))
· Able to prioritise effectively
· Strong organisational skills
· Understanding of the company's position within the marketplace
· Solid experience of performance management
· Experience of effective cost management
· Stock loss prevention experience, both managing stock takes and being pro active in maintain and improving stock loss percentage through liaising with the stock integrity department (such as auditing both product and staff)
· People management skills such as ability to motivate a team in a fast paced environment with mixture of personalities and able to delegate effectively
· Proven experience of training staff in areas of customer service, role specific training, product and procedures training

· Confident/energetic/enthusiastic
· Passion for/understanding of the brand, its product and marketing campaigns
· Friendly and approachable manner
· Team player/leader that has presence on the shop floor
· Self motivated - ability to enthuse staff and be proactive at all times due to opening hours of store
· Be able to use own initiative to be creative
· Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
· Flexible attitude towards variations in workload and tasks requires to be undertaken
· Attention to detail
NOTES
Candidate must be flexible to travel if required to support other stores.
Additional hours and tasks may be requires at any point and colleagues maybe required to comply with any reasonable request to complete additional hours or tasks in order for the business to meet business objectives
