Prime Function:
The Engineer is part of the team and is responsible for the installation and commissioning of biomass boilers.
He/she is also expected to provide technical support to other members of the Operation Team in aspects involving installation and commissioning of installations.
He/she is expected to liaise with and provide site point of contact with our client during installation, liaising with the Operations Controller and Technical Manager during program, methodology, design, installation, commissioning and client training. 
The role is predominantly site based and will involve travel and working away from home during the week.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Installation of biomass boilers
·         Commissioning of biomass boilers
·         Check off all deliveries to site for completeness  
·         Responding to boiler faults reported by clients on the phone
·         Attending site to rectify boiler faults
·         Demonstration and handover of system to client and sign off
·         Client operative training following boiler commission
·         Updating software on boilers
·         Improve and develop procedures
·         Attend training as required
·         All necessary paperwork required
 
Essential
·         Ability to demonstrate proven Electrical experience
·         Ability to demonstrate proven Mechanical experience
·         Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or Qualification in the Mechanical field.
·         Recognised Apprenticeship or Qualification in the Electrical field.
·         Proven welding, grinding and cutting experience
·         Proven knowledge of building services engineering with competency in Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic Installation work
·         Proven ability to read and interpret construction, electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
·         Good communication skills
·         Competent user of word, excel and outlook
·         Educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent
·         Ability to work as part of a team
·         Ability to work on own initiative
