Posting Description:- We are looking for an experienced assistant manager or manager for the West Hampstead NW6 branch of “The Kitchener” cook Shops. The ideal candidate will enjoy cooking, meeting people and be passionate about retail.

Salary:- With bonuses we are looking for an achiever to earn 35k plus

Location:- West Hampstead, London, NW6

The role will include:-

Buying (potentially all aspects)
Staff management (from recruiting and training to disciplinary procedures)
Shop management (visual merchandising, shop layout, promotions etc )
Shop progression (various possibilities for improving the business)

Requirements:-
6 months experience at supervisor level, minimum
2 years retail experience, minimum
Basic product knowledge and a desire to learn
Great communication and customer service skills
Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team as well as individually
The desire to reach daily targets and go the extra mile to do so.
Ability to use initiative to get the job done and excellent time management skills
Able to work both Saturdays and/or Sundays on a continuous basis
Able and willing to commit for at least a two year period
Basic Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent)
An ability to motivate others and a passion for cooking and cookware
To be flexible to work overtime when needed, and to work on location i.e. trade shows, shops etc. when necessary.
