Our client is a Financial Services focused organisation that has been nominated as one of the UK's top 10 firms to work for. Based in Brighton and offering a close knit team environment, we are looking for a bright, academic risk analyst to come on board for a long term contract.

You will be the first line of risk detection, looking at patterns of risk and deciphering this information from considerable data. You will be responsible for:

• The provision of intelligence analysis to identify risks to schemes using a wide range of risk analysis techniques
• Developing existing and new methods of risk identification
• Operating proactive techniques to identify emerging patterns and trends


We will consider academically focused individuals with a theoretical rather than practical understanding if you have an Econometric background. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate aptitude in the following areas:

• Risk based judgement and decision making
• Analysis and presentation techniques
• Intelligence gathering tools, techniques and software use
• Scheme risk mitigation approaches
• Impact assessment
• Credit rating assessment and interpretation
• Understanding of various corporate entities and transactions
• Financial analysis and reporting
• Business models and products
• Understanding of business sectors
