This is a great opportunity to join a top quality team at our beauty boutique in Putney Exchange shopping centre, which stocks a wide range of premium and niche skincare brands and also cross-sells treatments at our nearby day Spa.

We require a part-time beauty consultant to work on Saturdays and Sundays, with 1 weekend off per month, and also occasional shifts on other days from time to time.

Preferably you will be an experienced beauty consultant or make-up artist looking for the opportunity to provide really personalised skincare advice to individual customers drawing upon a portfolio of prestige and niche brands. Ideally, you will also have experience at Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Harrods or SpaceNK.

We will also however consider applications from beauty students doing full-time advanced make-up courses or NVQ2 or NVQ3 level beauty therapy courses, who have good retail experience, and who are looking to gain further beauty experience alongside their studies.

Excellent basic salary, pro-rata to hours worked and depending upon experience, plus commission tied to personal sales. The location is on excellent tube and bus routes and is within 100 yards of Putney main line station. This is a fully employed position offering 10-15 hours per week.

You must have:

-Previous beauty retail or promotional experience
-An attractive personal presentation, being immaculately groomed at all times
-Excellent spoken English and enjoy interacting confidently with customers
-Strong selling and listening skills
-High standards of customer service with an excellent work ethic
-A passion for skincare regimes and products and for keeping up-to-date with the latest "must haves"
-Excellent references available.

Preference will be given to candidates with some retail experience of brands that we stock - Clarins, Guinot, Thalgo, Neal's yard, Dr Hauschka, REN, Caudalie, This Works, Elemis, and Becca Cosmetics. Additional training and product knowledge will be supplied. Make-up qualifications would be an asset.
