Due to an internal move within the company, we require a Head chef to work a short term contract of a minimum of two months, till the new Head chef can start in January next year.

This is a short term contract working through a chef recruitment agency; who work in partnership with a gastro pub / restaurant group.

The role is for a minimum of two months, will be paid on a weekly basis at an hourly rate.

º You must have minimum of 4-5 years at Head Chef or Sous Chef level.

º Preferably of a British or Modern European background at Rosette or Michelin level in restaurant / Gastro pubs.

º Be available to start in the next week to do a handover and trial at the site.

FREELANCE AND SELF EMPLOYED chefs are very welcome; all you need is your own public liability insurance which we can arrange for you.

Roles start at £13/14 per hour + holiday pay for standard PAYE chefs.
Or
Roles start at £14/15 per hour for Self Employed / Ltd Company chefs.

•You must have a minimum of 4-5 years relevant industry experience
•Passport/Visa (Proof of ability to work in the United Kingdom)
•Up to date Basic health and Hygiene Certificate or Intermediate/Advanced health and Hygiene Certificate
•A minimum of two written or telephone referees/references
