Position: Assistant Designer
Contract: 4 week unpaid work experience placement (work related expenses will be reimbursed) followed by the opportunity for temporary or permanent employment thereafter with salary based on performance and experience
Location: Central London
Reporting to: Senior Designer, Sponsorship

Summary of the Role:
Based in London, you will be working for a leading Premiership Football Club, supporting the current Design Team across a variety of different projects.
This placement offers a unique opportunity to learn about the exciting and fast moving sports marketing industry and the operations of a major sports club.
Given the demands of the role, the right candidate will demonstrate a strong portfolio of previous work, as well as possessing the business acumen and determination to make a success of this exciting challenge.
This role would suit a recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher in Graphic Design or related course.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong, creative portfolio of work
- 2:1 degree or higher in Graphic Design or a related course
- Experience in delivering creative projects to tight deadlines both independently and as part of a larger team
- Capability across a broad range of software tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with film editing and production software like Final Cut Pro, After Effects and DVD Studio would be a bonus, as well as other programs such as Flash and Apple Keynote
- Good knowledge of Mac and PC operating systems
- Attention to detail and perfectionism in preparation and delivery of materials
- Good knowledge of design for print and print production
- Ambitious, hardworking and self-motivated
- Creative, innovative and methodical
- Extremely good time management and flexible approach to working hours
- Experience in managing output and finishing of creative projects to a high quality
- Experience in confidently presenting ideas individually and as part of a team in front of others and taking on board constructive criticism
