Do you recognise a nice house when you see one? We want someone to deliver flyers to them!
From 10hrs/week until mid-July
NO experience a distinct advantage!
You:
- have good eyesight
- can read, write, count in English
- don't mind walking
- have time free during the day
- have a mobile phone
We:
- pay whether you deliver 10 or 1000 flyers
- don't go out in the rain either
- are relaxed about you doing more some weeks than others
Business:
Work will be undertaken for a business that provides repair services either in Islington or Wimbledon, depending where you are.
Role:
2/3rds of our sales come from putting flyers through doors. You will be part of that effort.
Training:
We expressly do not want a flyer through every door, but rather have our staff be choosy about which doors they visit. To that end, training as to which is which will be provided. Also to that end, we'll look to take on someone without experience.
Hours of work:
We are looking to have someone work 10 hours a week or more, each week until the summer school break in Mid-July. We don't mind if you need to take time off through sickness, rainy days or other reasons, though we do only pay when you've gone out.
Work:
You'll be provided with a map and list of streets to be visited, a bundle of flyers and other items. You'll be expected to note down start and finish time, and how many flyers were delivered to each street. These notes can be returned by post, by hand or online; production of the notes get you paid. You are encouraged not to visit any street or residence that you do not feel comfortable visiting for any reason (dog in yard; known occupant etc).
Pay:
Pay is £8.25 per hour. If in cash, a receipt from you will be required. If not by cash, your bank sort-code and account number will be needed for payment to it. Please note that bank payment is usually far faster. Time spent travelling to the area is not paid. Travel expenses must be agreed beforehand, will normally be limited to two pounds, and will be paid on production of a receipt for the agreed amount. Payment for work is normally made only on return of the notes mentioned in 'Work' above.
What to do now:
Please email us saying who you are, which postcode you are in, your mobile number and write briefly how you expect this work to fit in with your day. All applicants who do the above will be replied to by 25 May 2008.
