Our client is looking for an Inhouse Commercial Lawyer to join a dynamic and reputable luxury retail company, based in central London. This is a permanent role and the salary would range from 90-120K depending on relevant industry experience. There is a bonus structure and fantastic benefits package.The ideal candidate must have senior level in-house legal experience for a retail organization.

The successful candidate would be taking on a sole role- responsibility for the entire legal division of this world-renowned company. You would be involved in a fast growing and interesting organisation, with exposure and influence at board level, where your advice would be sought and invaluable. Previous legal experience within the retail sector, and knowledge of commercial law at this level- in areas such as logistics, IT, economics, employment and contracts- would be advantageous.

Role:
This role has come about due to the complexity surrounding new business, and the role would have a great focus on reviewing/maintaining/assisting in negotiating key contracts in the business, especially within the area of department store contracts, and expanding their trademark on a global basis. Retail knowledge would thus be essential. Employment law and licence agreements would be included in the scope of the position.
