Morgan Hunt are currently working on behalf of a Leading Charity offering a range of services to people with mental health issues throughout the UK. We have an excellent opportunity to join their North London based team providing an Advocacy Service to mental health service users within the BME community.

Candidates for this position will need:
- Experience of providing direct advocacy services to mental health service users
- A thorough knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
- An understanding of the issues involved in delivering independent advocacy to BME communities

Responsibilities Include:
- Providing an IMHA service to mental health service users from BME communities
- Promoting the purpose of advocacy amongst professionals within the community
- Ensuring the individual service users are aware of the purpose of the service
- Reaching service users within the community who would not normally come into contact with support services
- Working closely with service users to determine a course of action
