Get paid £30 to take part in psychology research (And the chance to win an additional £50 voucher)
Are you interested in taking part in some research looking in to the effects of common drink ingredients on taste perception, mood and behaviour?
This study proposes to explore how ingredients in commonly consumed drinks effect one's taste perception, mood and behaviour over successive drinks.
The research will involve attending the laboratory on two separate occasions. Each laboratory session will last between 2.5 and 3 hours and you will be given a light lunch following the sessions.
During the course of the experiment you will be asked to consume a variety of drinks and fill in questionnaires. Drink ingredients may include alcohol, artificial sweetener, mild stimulants (e.g. caffeine, guarana), herbal relaxants (e.g. chamomile). Questionnaires will relate to your current health, drink consumption over the last 3 months and mood after consumption of drinks in the laboratory session.
You will be reimbursed for your time - £30 at the end of the second session. In addition to this you will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £50 HMV vouchers.
Exclusion criteria:
Participants must be in good physical/psychiatric health (no history of illicit drug misuse/dependence or major psychiatric disorders).
