A solid understanding of maths and mathematic techniques is essential when you are young, not only will it pave the way to academic success later on, but for children in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6, it is essential in ensuring that they are confident with Maths in order to do well in the Year 6 SATS test which is important, as it contributes towards the student selection process to secondary school for entry to Year 7.

I have had 3 years experience working with children aged 9-11. I have a no-nonsense approach in teaching Maths, as my methods are very direct and easy to understand. I will provide all teaching material throughout tuition, and once I feel your child is confident enough in his/her abilities, I will then move on by working on their exam technique with past exam papers, to ensure your child is fully confident with the questions asked in the SATS test.

I am currently tutoring full-time, and I have GCSE and A-Level qualifications. I obtained 1 A*, 6 A grades and 1B for GCSE and A A B grades in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry respectively, for my A-Levels.

My rate is £20 per hour and I to travel to North/North-West/West London, but I also offer tuition at my home in North-West London (Abbey Road) for a discounted rate.
