We are 3 experienced musicians (vocals/guitar, guitar, bass) looking for a drummer to set up a band to play a wide range of guitar based music – from classic rock to acoustic balladry.

Background will prob help: Singer (late 20’s - vocals) and I (early 30’s – guitars) have been writing and playing together in various rock bands for years trying to become rock stars. We got close, but never quite made it. Couple that with growing up, having grown up jobs and having less time meant that the music fell by the wayside – aside from carrying on writing at home. We realise that we really miss playing the songs, we have an extensive back catalogue of varied sounding stuff, we’d like to get out there and play it again – as well as write and shape new material, we still believe it’s good stuff but we DON’T and WON’T be trying to be rock stars now – it will be for the love of music. We have got a bass magician onboard and now we need a drummer as the final piece.

We are looking for a strong, yet simplistic rock drummer with a groove – ála Brad Wilk (Rage / Audioslave) to rehearse once a week, every week with the intention of gigging every couple of months – as mentioned this is a relaxed affair, it won’t be for money or future fame, it will be because 4 blokes love playing good songs live. We all have pro-gear set-ups and would expect you to have a kit and be able to commit to weekly rehearsals (somewhere in Central Lon tbc) and be free for gigs once in a while.

The easy part is that we have 30+ songs to choose from that we’ve been playing a loooong time, and we are always writing, so it wouldn’t be long before we are gig ready – the bass magician is picking up stuff fast, so we need someone with some experience to bring to the table behind the kit to help us on our way. A good foundation for any band is a solid rhythm section!

Stuff we listen to: wide-ranging! Rage, QOTSA, Zep, Black Crowes, Soundgarden, AC/DC, Audioslave, the Blues, the soft rock, the acoustic rock, the country rock…
