A charming elderly lady requires company and practical help from Thursday evening until Monday morning. She would like help with shopping and home cooking, laundry, accompanying on occasional outings and giving a little company and conversation. She would like the reassurance of someone sleeping in her apartment at night. During the day there will be a few hours free to go out, and you could also spend some of the time studying or working in your room. She doesn't need constant company.

Her ideal companion will be female, 50+, speak clear English as she is quite deaf, perhaps be interested in politics and history, be friendly, and be a confident and economical cook.

You would have a large, quiet bedroom with a single bed. Bedding would be provided. You would just need to bring an over-night bag each week with the things you would need for the few days.

Pay will be in the region of £75 gross per day. You must be self-employed and will be reponsible for paying your own tax and NI contributions.

You must have references and be willing to get an Enhanced CRB police check done if you don't already hold a current, valid CRB.
