THE ROLE AND THE DEPARTMENT.
The position requires a self motivated individual to collect, translate and publish content and events, mainly to the Betfair Exchange site, but also to other company websites as required. The role also requires the individual to liaise with Sports Admin Teams to assess upcoming events and be aware of ad hoc changes and events, as well as translating and publishing any other type of corporate or promotional content required by the business. As the Betfair service is available 24/7, the Content Producer will work on a daytime shift rota and be required to cover some weekends and/or Bank Holidays.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Updating your country’s homepage with compelling market links and banners to ensure time-sensitive events are promoted according to user requirements - both to a pre-arranged schedule and on an ad hoc basis.
• Ensuring the Betfair Exchange site (and other sites) are localised into your specific language according to the requirements of customers in your country.
• Working closely with the Team Lead, fellow Content Producers and Market Administrators to ensure the accuracy of translated content.
• Providing an in-house translation service for all other Betfair Departments such as Marketing, Legal, Customer Services etc., and ensuring these are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Monitor the various sites, platforms and markets to ensure all information is up-to-date as possible for the customer at all times.

THE MUST HAVES (skills & knowledge)
• Passion for and knowledge of sports.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Internet.
• Ability of translating English into Chinese language (Mandarin) to publishing standards.

THE NICE TO HAVES.
• Knowledge of HTML.
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Working experience in data publishing.
• Cantonese language skill is desirable.
