2nd Line Technical Support Engineer
We are a global Networking manufacturer with sales offices in every major European country. We are looking to recruit a 2nd Line Technical Support engineer with at least 2 years experience to support our wide range of networking solutions. We are inviting candidates with the following experience to apply.
Experience and skills required:
Certification such as CCNA or equivalent.
Previous support experience - 2 years or more.
Good knowledge of Broadband Internet technologies.
Ethernet Switching (VLANs/IGMP Snooping/Spanning Tree Protocols/802.1p).
Layer 3 switching (DSCP, RIP, OSPF).
Network Security (Firewalls and VPNs).
Network Storage (NAS and SANs).
Wireless Technologies (802.11a/b/g/n, WMM, WDS).
Fibre optic technologies.
Network Management Protocols (SNMPv2, SNMPv3).
Excellent understanding of Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7.
Knowledge of MAC OS will be an advantage
Knowledge of Cisco Switches.
