The flat:

The rent is £450 a month.

(Bills shared between 3. BT Wireless Broadband, BT Vision, BT phone, Gas, Electrics, Council tax, even Water etc.)

The room is quite big and perfectly formed with a view onto the nice green garden. it comes furnished, and the rest of the house has lots of space for 4 people. A kitchen diner with a country feel, a nice big dining table, new electric oven and a dart board!

The bathroom is small but also perfectly formed (of course), no bath but a nice hot power shower.

The other housemates are clean and considerate, the house is lived in and cosy...

The transport links (are amazing!)

You couldn't get closer to the train station if you tried. We've got direct links to Clapham Junction, Victoria , London Bridge etc. or a 10 minutes bus journey to Brixton (buses are every minute)

The area:

Streatham Hill is the place to be! In recent years more bars and entertainment areas have opened up, there are trendy bars and traditional pubs within 2/3 minutes walk, more restaurants of varying styles than you could shake a stick at. There's an Odeon 10 minutes walk away and a Bingo hall literally around the corner! (what a selling point!)

On top of that Balham and Clapham junction are a couple of stops down on the train, Balham a 10 minutes walk away. And they are rammed full of bars and restaurants.

5 minutes walk down the road and you're at Tooting Bec Common (Just punch the post code in google maps, you'll see!), a huge expanse of wonderful park land, ponds, sports facilities and the famous Tooting Bed Lido, a 100 metre outdoor swimming pool

On a more practical note, there is a Somerfield at the end of the street and a Tesco's and Sainsbury's within 3 minutes walk, on top of that a butchers, grocer's and an electrical store around the corner.

Harriet – (20) – my sister, just has moved to London, very fun and lively! She’s working in bar in Clapham common, and working as a runner on a comedy programme. She’s studied fashion and art in the past, and she likes ... cheese?!

Sascha – (about 25ish) – is a budding photographer, who works in photo shop in a Mayfair. Come and check out his black and white prints. He’s fun and considerate, he cycles a lot and he fu**ing loves red wine..

The deal:

The deposit is £200 to be paid asap in exchange for your keys. This confirms that the room is yours! and 1 months rent in advance on the day you move in, the paper work is kept to a minimum as your “landlord” is me, and I live in the house too!, we like to keep it relaxed around here. A month’s notice of moving out would be nice if that occurs.
