Junior Java Developer / Analyst

£ 18,000 - £ 22,000 per annum

We are a Tech Track 100 mobile phone services company in the Victoria area of London. Our platform promotes and delivers ringtones, wallpapers, text chat, goal alerts, WAP chatrooms, etc to mobile phone users in 15+ countries.

We are seeking an entry level Java programmer to liaise with our internal and external commercial clients and then use a range of bespoke tools and fragments of Java and SQL programming to deliver what is required.

This role is focussed on service setup as opposed to core development, and is ideally suited for a programmer new to the mobile phone arena, and interested in getting their foot through the door in terms of commercial Java and SQL development.

The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly with non-technical people, translate these discussions into a brief summary of expected service behaviour, produce a matching testing plan, implement the expected behaviour, and produce test results to confirm that it is working as expected.

You do not need to have previous experience working in a company, but you do need to demonstrate that you are capable of being a self-starter, who prides himself on the accuracy of his work, and who is able to look beyond what is asked to determine what is actually required.

Ideally the successful candidate will hold a technology-related degree. Good English language skills are necessary to perform this job.
