We are looking to employ a middleweight designer to join a creative team of 3. You will have had a minimum of 3 years professional experience. If you are looking to learn new skills, work on higher profile projects and join a focused and professional team, please read on!

Responsibilities:

Web design from conception through to creation of online assets for clients across a variety of sectors but primarily National & International FMCG, Financials, Travel & Leisure Brands.

Ability to work within, adapt and enhance established brand guidelines

Apply your designs across web and sometimes print when required

Brainstorm ideas and come up with a plethora of fresh new conceptual designs that can translate to print and web

Liase with HTML developers before visuals are presented to clients

Understand and appreciate the importance of accessible and user centered design concepts

Work as part of a team of developers, designers and project managers

Creative skills
• Strong creative ideas
• Good layout and typographic skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work on projects from concept through to completion
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Self motivated, proactive

Technical skills
• Adobe CS3: Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Acrobat, Flash (with good ActionScripting skills a bonus)
• Web design: understanding of how designs translate to a user’s journey on website
• HTML knowledge: understanding of how CSS is structured to ensure designs are effectively implemented with an emphasis on usability & accessibility.

For the right candidate we offer a starting salary of £28K + more dependent on flash skills, 20 annual leave days plus the opportunity to sharpen and develop your skills to be able to move into a more senior creative role at the agency.
