We create.

This is not a P.R campaign, this is not marketing and this is not a new profit-scheme. This is a group of artists and writers fighting for real culture and community.

Whether we write, paint, sew, sculpt, dance, draw, throw, photograph etc. etc. we are constantly frustrated by a dominant culture that defines how art is created, who it is created for and what type of commodity it shall be. Our talents are drawn in, exploited for marketing, consumer-design, advertising. We say: No More!

We are pro-cultural. We recognise capitalism as being a counter-cultural force, which stifles and co-opts all artistic practice. We therefore aim to find some space for genuine culture. This must initially be within the capitalist system, but must also encapsulate the possibility of a place beyond it.

We don't want to be discovered, produced, marketed or reviewed, we just want to create, share, inspire and spread real culture as an alternative to the insidious and insipid commodity 'culture'.

We create our lives as a part of a radical political and personal process. We gather to create; we defy the modern cult of the artist, each artists helps each other. We create together. Some works may be assigned the name of an Artist, others may be assigned the name of the group. Each is free to create alone. Free to create together.

We meet to discuss, to plan and to create for a better world now and after Capitalism.
