Myark is a 50' narrow boat , built buy Colecraft. She has been lived on by us for 10 years. This boat would be an excellent opportunity for a single person or couple to get into a great way of life, which we very much recommend.

Myark has a kitchen fitted with gas cooker, fridge, and storage cupbaords. The lounge (cream tongue and groove) has a solid fuel stove. Double bed with storage underneath, and a toilet/shower room.

Facilities include an instant water heater running on gas, all gas pipes re-fitted this summer. Heating is from the stove in the lounge, which if run on logs is carbon neutral. Propulsion and electrics come from a 2.5 BMC deisel engine, that was rebuilt 4 years ago, and has had a reacent service (new injectors and starter motor). If you need to run the boat on the Thames you have plenty of power with this engine, and its great fun to do!
The hull was reblacked last year and her upper works have just been repainted.

There is currently no mooring with the boat, but moorings can be bought at auction. Alternatively many boaters opt to continously cruise, as we did. This saves on mooring costs and gives the freedom to move around london (Camden, Angel, Little Venice, Westbourne Park, Victoria Park, River Lee etc) or in fact the rest of England.
