A leading and international media and entertainment company based in the US and UK are looking for a Supply Chain Inventory Specialist (MRP), who are interested in a temp role, paying paying approx £120/day. Ideally looking for German language ability- but could be flexible with this requirement.

The job role would entail:

- To work together with the demand planner from territory, centralised demand management and suppliers to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of promotional and catalogue products into territories or direct to retailer
- Maintain appropriate stock levels using MRP and different inventory reports to utilise repack and inventory reduction opportunities
- Monitor the daily inventory processes and ensure issues are resolved in timely manner
- Liaise with territories and ensure products are being produced, re-worked or distributed into / in correct packaging
- Execute MRP transactions accordingly, manufacturing, buy back, rework and consolidation of PO's
- Monitor warehouse inventory levels to define strategies/opportunities for inventory minimisation and sharing
- Maintain supplier SLA and KPI reporting
- Report back to the business regarding opportunities to use obsolescence inventory in one territory against demand from another

You will need the following skills:

At least 2 years experience in an inventory management role and preferably within the media and Entertainment sector.
Analytical skills
Excellent SAP knowledge especially MRP, Inventory Movements / Postings and I-DOC management.
Understanding of Distribution and Manufacturing Logistics
Experience of managing the negotiation of accounts with external suppliers
