Hello there!

At the grand old age of 31 (!) I'm taking a career break from being a solicitor to head off to India and Sri Lanka in January 2010 until early March. I've been before but didn't manage to see everything I'd planned hence another trip! India is also very addictive!

The rough plan is to fly into Mumbai then straight down to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, over to Sri Lanka then up north to Delhi, Agra, Varanasi and Rajasthan. This is just an initial idea though and very much subject to change! I'd also love to fit in some of the national parks on the way as well as enjoy local food and culture and meet local people as well as other travellers.

In terms of budget, it's probably going to to be backpacking most of the way but I love splashing out now and again for nice hotels and top meals - oh and nice cold beers and cocktails!

I guess I'm open minded as to travel buddies - male, female, gay, straight....it's the person that counts. I can get on with just about anyone! If anyone is planning a trip to India around the same time or wants to see the same sort of places, drop me a e-mail. We could meet up for a chat if that suits.
