Job Title: English Language Tutor and Literacy and Numeracy Tutor
Work Pattern: Permanent
No. of Hours: 4+ Hours per week
Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
Job Description
Your main duties will be to teach English language/Literacy and Numeracy to candidates and ensure that the curriculum is taught to the high standards of the college. You will assist learners with any difficulties they have with any of the subject matter, and plan and conduct classes for candidates. You will also assess all coursework submitted.
Furthermore, you will be required to liaise effectively with internal departments, specifically the English/Literacy and Numeracy departments and maintain good working relationships within the college.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
To apply for this job role, you must have a minimum of a degree in English Language or similar qualification for Literacy and Numeracy and a teaching qualification such as a PGCE would be an advantage.
