My partner is going on a 2 week yoga retreat starting 21/11 for reasons best known to her but hey. We have a fabulous little 2.5 year old little girl, Penny. We live in an 3 bed appartment on Prince of Wales Drive in Battersea next to the Park,and in a house in Cambridge. Penny goes to nursery every day 5 min walk from the appartment. I have realised that with my work committments I cannot look after Penny by myself without help while partner is away. I am looking for a person who is calm and can give our little girl some support and affection for two weeks starting 21/11 and just help me out.

I plan to work for one of the two weeks and then travel with Penny to stay with friends in Berkshire, Suffolk and Bath for the other week and need some help with the logistics of this, so you would need to be prepared to travel and stay in friends' houses. While in London you would have your own room and bathroom (very close to Penny's bedroom!) She is not difficult; I know because I have three elder daughters who were tricky.

Pen needs someone who is able to talk to her and play with her a lot. She loves
the Park, conversation, arts and crafts , letters and numbers and Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid. You will have fun with her! After seeing Fantastic Mr Fox last week at the cinema she also thinks she likes killing foxes but maybe she just got reaaaaaly scared.

You will be calm, confident and utterly trustworthy with my daughter. I will be supportive, want you to have fun with my little girl and will pay you at a generous rate to reflect the fact that this is a short term assignment and I am a bit desperate for some help.

I am a 50 year old professional chap who works in the West End; partner a 35 year old architect.

I will forward picture of me, partner and Penny to anyone seriously interested of course. I would like a CV, some references, picture and of course to meet to see if this would work for all of us. You are able to talk to our nursery if you would like to figure out that we are an OK sort of dysfunctional family.
