Securities Lending Operations, Account Manager
Our Client is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high net-worth individuals
·Investigation and resolution of alleged, orphan, quantity, dividend, fee and rebate rate breaks in PIRUM and EQUILEND
·Processing cash and fee marks
·Follow controls in place to minimise any risk to the department / company
·Processing manual corporate actions outside automated flows
·Maintaining group e-mail account along with other team members
·Clear daily exception messages across a varied criteria, mitigating any risk to the firm
·Maintaining highly professional client service focus
·Participate in weekly rota tasks, such as tri-party co-ordinator, benchmark rate input and approval, pledge and recall monitor
Skills/Experience:
·Full operational familiarity with PIRUM and EQUILEND
·Contract Compare is essential
·A minimum of 18 -24 months experience in a Securities Lending Operations or a Collateral Management / Contract Compare / Control role would be preferred
·Ability to demonstrate that they can multi-task and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines
·Team player who will pitch in with enthusiasm to assist their team mates when required
·The ability to work alone and take initiative but know when to escalate is extremely important
·Good communication skills are essential
·Exceptional client service skills are critical
·Control focus and be achievement orientated
