im a white girl and im looking for good make up tips

is it true, that powder is a good trick to put on at the end, so that it makes the foundation stay? does this actually work? i dont want to buy powder, apply it last, only for it not to work

my problem is i use really good foundation, i use christian dior stuff, which is a lovely texture and first thing in the morning it looks lovely but then by th end of the day it has faded and u cant even tell im wearing make up

this is really annoying me ive tried mac's foundation too and the same thing happens

any tips xx
