We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with challenging behaviour for a large secondary school in the borough of Greenwich that has good transport links.

You will be supporting students with both SEN statements and who exhibit challenging behaviour in the classroom. You will be supporting both the student and the teacher in each class to ensure that the students IEP's are reached. You will be involved in regular reviews with SEN staff and written reports on their progress. You will be working term time only, standard school hours and the occasional after school meeting.

This is a role that will require patience and an understanding of the problems faced by students with SEN. You must demonstrate experience working in a similar environment.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
