We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Food & Beverage associate to join the team here at the 5 star London Marriott West India Quay.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the team at the London Marriott West India Quay Hotel, working in our contemporary Curve Restaurant & Bar which specialises in fish and seafood sourced from the neighbouring Billingsgate Fish Market.

The restaurant is situated over 2 floors with a separate bar and a large terrace for al fresco dining.

We are looking to recruit an outgoing and energetic individual who would be able to work in all Food and Beverage service areas. As a food and feverage associate you will be responsible for serving our guests in accordance with the Marriott standards of Food and Beverage quality, presentation and hygiene, in a gracious and professional manner.

The preferred candidate will have previous experience working within a busy Food & Beverage environment and have good knowledge of food, wine and beverages. Applicants should be proactive, reliable and innovative with an excellent ability to work under pressure. Exceptional customer service skills and a polite friendly manner are key to this great position.

The candidate must also demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal, listening and writing) and have a good level of English. The applicants should have excellent team working skills and be able to work unsupervised when empowered to do so. They must be customer orientated with strong sales skills and be flexible to work in shift patterns in accordance with the business needs of the hotel.

All candidates MUST have valid permission to live and work in the United Kingdom, and must be able to demonstrate this proof upon interview.

We also require 2 references from candidates which must be provided upon interview.
