We are a friendly, relaxed family looking for someone to pick up our three children from school at 3.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and to care for them until one of us gets home from work at about 6.00/ 6.30pm. The children are two boys and a girl, aged 11, 10 and 7 years. We also have a quiet dog, but looking after her is not part of the job description.

The job involves collecting the children from school, giving them a meal at home (and clearing up afterwards), and encouraging them to do homework and music practice. We really want someone who is kind and able to be companiable with the children.

You will need to be organised, friendly, able to cook simple meals, and you must have childcare experience. Ability to drive is an advantage, but not essential (the school is about 20 minutes walk from our house). Availability to do some full days of childcare in the school holidays would be great but, again, is not essential.

We will pay £9 per hour (£8 per hour when it's a full day's work). If you feel the job would suit you, please do get in touch - a CV and references are essential.
