Part time Hr Advisor £32k pro rata
A very reputable and commendable charity based in the City is looking for a part time HR Advisor to work 3 days a week in support of the HR Manager.
Working alongside 2 other HR Advisors the role will be responsible for:
* Supervise a HR Admin Assistant
* Authorise allowances and payments in the absence of the Head of HR
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Advise management on HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
* Process work permits and visa's
* Compile contracts of employment, ensure references and medicals are processed
* Payroll input; administer salary reviews, loans, advances and all employee benefits
* Approve payments for engagement of temp staff
* Assist in compiling the annual HR work programme budget
* assist in the maintenance of the job evaluation scheme
* Cover for 2 HR officers when required
* Ensure Health & Safety procedures are in place and are adhered to
The successful person for this role will have:
- A recognised HR qualification
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- proven advanced experience in HR generalist work
- Excellent financial/budgetary skills
- Well developed supervisory skills
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Strong negotiation skills, tactful, diplomatic and a flexible team player.
