Here i have for sale my beloved Land Rover Discovery.
It is a 1995 (M) and is the 2.5 TDI version. It is manual transmission and has done just under 63000 miles.

There is a long story behind the car so here goes. My grandfather bought it in April 1998 at which point it had 2 previous owners and had done 40000 miles. He owned the car for the next 8 years and only did 19000 miles in this time, mainly his annual trip to bournemouth and back. After he passed away in 2006 the vehicle was used sparingly by my nan and was garaged for almost two years. I then acquired the vehicle in January this year initially to tow a trailer back from Newcastle and i ended up driving it for a couple of months.

Now i'm afraid i have a work van so i have to let it go. I wont be selling it to just anyone as its the last memory of my grandad i have left so i want somebody to buy it who i know will look after it and treat it how he did. Someone with a bit of passion for it.

The car itself is absolutely immaculate. You would have to search a long way to find one in better condition than this. Exterior and interior are near enough spotless, looks more like 13 months old than 13 years!

It has big alloy wheels (19" i think), full electric windows, abs, diff lock, remote central locking, alarm, power steering, tow bar. Has all the extras you could possibly want.

On the log book it is obviously now registered to me, the previous owner is named as A.E. Procter which is the family business which my grandfather owned before he passed away. The business is a haulage and builders merchant with an on site mechanic who has regularly serviced the Land Rover every year since it was bought in 1998. The last one he did was in August.

The vehicle in currently sorn, as the tax expired at the end of April and my insurance had expired by then so i couldnt tax it without an insurance document. Its £99.00 for 6 months. The MOT runs until August 15th but i will put a 12 month MOT on it as i know It will pass with flying colours as usual. It has not failed an MOT in the whole time we have owned it, these models are built to last!

Please dont call me trying to sell the car for me as im not interested, this is a personal sale and i want to meet the buyer direct and make sure it goes to the right person.
Also please dont ring me offering me £2000 for the car as my dad was a car dealer for 25 years and knows values. Beaten up old ones of these with 100k plus sell for over £2000 so please dont insult the quality and cleanliness of this one. I may do a cash deal, give me a call.
