BASSIST WANTED FOR INDIE/ROCK/POP BAND - THE STOWAWAYS

The Stowaways have been together for about a year, have gigged in some pretty big venues, from ULU (University of London Union), to Nottinghill Arts Club, Metro & The Purple Turtle. We are a very self sufficient, hard working and dedicated band, that like to work hard and play harder. Everything you see and hear on our myspace has been recorded/design/written by us and within the next week, we will be launching a new website for the band as well! In december we are launching a single called Fever, that you can hear on the myspace, as well as an EP to accompany it. We've got an Industry Showcase lined up at the O2 Academy and have our hearts set on get picked up very soon...

Our current line-up is Lead Vocals, Lead Guitarist, & Drummer, both of which do some form of BVs as well. We're in a transition at the moment, mixing up our sounds, trying some new material (still within the indie/rock/pop area), and adjusting ourselves to move forward with full force.

We are looking for a talented Bassist, creative, yet can be minimal where required in terms of impact in a song. You would be involved in the writing instrumentally as much as any other member of the band, and can hopefully add that something special to our current sound.

Must be London based, aged 18-25, dedicated, easy going, talented, reasonably stylish and like-minded.

Rehearsals normally take place around central london/old street area.
