Financial Services company based in central London are looking for a Nearly or Newly Qualified Investment Accountant for 2 to 3 months

The role is reporting into the Senior Financial Controller and is working in the Investment side of the business. The role is paying between £18 and £25ph (depending on experience) and requires a candidate to have very strong understanding and experience of Investment Accounting. This is a great opportunity to work for a company that is bucking the economic trends and doing very well.

The role’s responsibilities are:

Working with the Investment Manager on a daily basis
Analysing and reporting on the Schroeders report on a daily basis
Ad hoc analysis for the Investment Manager
Inter-company reconciliation and management of full reconciliation process
Reconciliation for SOX
Using bespoke system for FX tasks as required (previous use of Bloomberg would be beneficial)

The role requires :

Nearly or Newly Qualified Accountants with Investment experience
Candidates that are ACA/ACCA finalists/Qualified
Candidates from Practice or a Financial Services background
Candidates that are immediately available or on very short notice
