CREST Waltham Forest is able to offer the opportunity for you to oversee the operation of a charity shop on busy Walthamstow High Street for either one or two days a week. We currently have space on both Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are looking for a volunteer capable of being responsible for being the keyholder, opening and closing the shop (9.30am to 4.30pm) working with and supporting a small team of volunteers. The sort of experience you will get involves sorting and pricing incoming goods, helping customers, working on the till etc. We'd like you to have had previous experience, but it's really not essential. Because of the responsibility involved, two references will be taken up. Reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be provided for those working a full day.
