Application for V.A.T. Registration
1. You can register for VAT if you're in business and you are one of these:
• an individual
• a partnership
• a company
• a club
• an association
• a charity
• any other organisation or group of people acting together under a particular name, such as an educational or health institution, exhibition, conference, etc
2. If your turnover of VAT taxable goods and services supplied within the UK for the previous 12 months is more than the current registration threshold of £68,000, or you expect it to go over that figure in the next 30 days alone, you must register for VAT.
3. If you have to register for one of the reasons described above, but you don't live in the UK or have a place of business here, then you must register as a Non-Established Taxable Person (NETP). You may also want to appoint a tax agent to keep VAT records and accounts on your behalf - that's up to you.
We can only receive a VAT number for your company, if we handle your accountancy or if you have already an accountant in GB. For companies with a foreign director, we are required to be the fiscal and V.A.T. agent of your company. This service comes at an additional cost of 250.00



Accountancy in the UK + annual accounts
1. Periodically (you choose the frequency with our accounts department), you send us your invoices, bank statements and other documents. You can forward them to us by fax or by email (scan).
2. At your accounts year-end (12 months from the date of incorporation), we prepare the financial statements and the Corporation Tax Return .

Company Secretary for 1 year including administrative management of the company and the filing of the mandatory Annual Return In order to register your limited company in the United Kingdom, it is not necessary to have a secretary, but it is preferred to have a secretary who speaks English well enough to dialogue with the English authorities and is sufficiently qualified to perform the statutory tasks and the submission of the obligatory year-end report before the deadline/ expiry imposed by the government (the fines are strong in the case of delay).
